Erin Murphy Boyle

New to serving on the board of 海角社区, Erin Murphy Boyle is thrilled to support the outstanding work of the college, especially its fostering life changing careers for students and growing our stellar regional workforce. Erin has served in state and local government for 24 years, as a practitioner and an advisor. Erin鈥檚 particular strength is in building trusted relationships and fostering collaborative missions across the private and public sectors. 

Presently, one of Accenture LLP鈥檚 Public Service Account leaders for Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Erin has served Accenture for 3 years by bringing the best of Accenture鈥檚 management consulting services to support clients鈥 operations and policy goals. For nearly ten years, Erin served Ernst & Young LLP (EY) in a similar role as well as consulted in EY鈥檚 site selection advisory practice as the firm鈥檚 Pennsylvania subject-matter-advisor for financial incentives and public affairs.

Prior to her consulting work, Erin was the Philadelphia regional representative for the Pennsylvania Governor鈥檚 Action Team where she managed major economic development projects on behalf of Governors Ed Rendell and Tom Corbett, their executive staff and state government agencies. Erin also managed external advisors, pursued (and won) competitive federal grants for workforce and economic development, and managed special projects for the Executive Offices of the Departments of Community and Economic Development and General Services. Erin started her career as a Project Manager at the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation and administered grant programs for the City of Philadelphia. This early-career experience in government shaped Erin鈥檚 commitment of fostering connected and open dialogue to streamline complex projects and better understand stakeholders鈥 priorities, challenges, and how to achieve mutual success.  

Erin earned her M.A. in Governmental Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, Fels Institute of Government and her B.A. in Spanish and Political Science from Rosemont College, where she achieved fluency in Spanish and has since served as an adjunct professor of Political Science.

Erin recently joined the Advisory Board, a community journal that shares positive, upbeat news across Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (February 2025). In January 2025, Erin was named to . Erin served as Co-Chair of the Commerce & Economic Development Committee for , in support of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania鈥檚 newly elected Commissioners (January 2024 鈥 May 2024). In February 2022, she rejoined the board of the , a nonprofit that offers educational support for the Fairhill community in North Philadelphia. 

Erin proudly calls Montgomery County home and resides in Lower Merion Township with her husband Stephen and their two sons. Her advice to students is 鈥渆mbrace asking questions and learning how to learn. Our jobs and the world around us will continue evolving, and the best path for success is to be adaptable and ready for change.鈥
