Our Testing Environment
The Testing Center at Montco provides a focused, well-organized, secure testing environment—creating favorable conditions for the diverse range of tests we administer and the population we serve. Our proctors are well-trained and certified in their respective areas, and we also accommodate test takers with documented disabilities.
Our testing services include:
Using Our Testing Center
- Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
- Bring a photo ID (required). A current student ID, driver’s license, state or military ID, or passport will be accepted.
- Allow yourself enough time to take each test.
- Prohibited items:
- Cellphones and electronics
- Wearable smart devices including, but not limited to, smartwatches, smart glasses, smart jewelry
- Wireless headphones
- Food, drinks, gum

Test Prep Center
The Test Preparation Center offers self-guided sessions and resources to help students prepare for placement tests, including the BIO and ESL assessments. Students can access practice tests, quizzes, and study materials online at their own pace.

College Hall, Library 2nd Floor
Monday through Thursday – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday – 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Note: Drop-ins for ESL & BIO Placement Testing are not permitted during finals week.
Pottstown Campus
South Hall, Library
Monday through Thursday – 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (and by appointment)
